In this interview, I will be answering the question "What dates are the most meaningful to you and why?" After my submission, I will interview my cousin Sophie Lane who will give me her three dates and I will break down the differences in our answers to see if they're in any way similar.
My Dates
06/26/2021
The day that I won a state championship. This day will forever be a day I hold close because of the challenges that my teammates and I went through to even be able to get to the game. Through a covid year, guys that never got the opportunity to play their last season, we were always faced with challenges leading up to this game. We worked for hours a day getting better every single day for one goal which was the state championship game. Now with that being said when the day that this game came to fruition

The day that I decided where I was going to school and that I was going to get the ability to play baseball there. My biggest dream of mine was to have the opportunity to play college baseball at some level. The day that I was given an opportunity to play for CNU was one of the greatest days of my life.
06/15/2006
When I picked up a baseball bat for the first time this date single-handedly changed the outcome of my life up to this point and has made so many decisions for me. I know for a fact that these decisions I’ve made because of baseball have changed me for the better.
Sophie Lane, the individual I've interviewed is my one and only cousin. She attended Ole Miss where she is still there studying law and dreams of being a lawyer. She lives in Virginia Beach, Virginia where the rest of my family resides.

"I went to see Billy Joel in NYC with my dad - a memory I will cherish forever, good bonding time. I look back at this memory a lot when my day isn't going well."
05/00/2020
"The day that I graduated high school - best day ever because I left high school behind and all the drama and issues. I look back on it and how I do not miss it at all and that I am so much happier with life now.
Summary
Something that I noticed in this interview is that in both of our responses there was a date that made us happy maybe the day you consider being the best day of your life, as well as a date that changed who you were as a person. With my own responses, I stated that the state championship game day was one of the greatest experiences I've ever had and how much it meant to win that game. I also mention how much the game of baseball has changed me as a person and the advantage it's given me throughout life. Sophie mentions how the day she graduated high school was a day of freedom and the release of all her stresses and it made her feel alive again. I can compare that with my day as they were both exhilarating emotions that brought out nothing but pure joy. Sophie talks about the day her sister, my cousin, passed away before she was able to be born into this world. She mentions her as her own guardian angel and it's something that helps push through the tough days and also is a comforting thought in general. Our answers are very different from each other, but I believe at the same time they have a lot of similarities.
